“DEVELOPMENT OF FEMALE ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN RURAL REGIONS OF REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA”

The project “Development of female entrepreneurship in rural regions of Moldova”, is implemented in rural areas of Moldova during the period 2022-2024 by the Polish NGO, the East Foundation, in collaboration with the National Agency for Rural Development (ACSA) and in partnership with MAFI from Moldova.
The project is focusing on support of the female entrepreneurship in rural areas, which is important for the long-term stability of Moldovan communities. The project is implemented during the years 2022-2024 and includes comprehensive and multilateral support in the field of capacity building (including: education, investment, building business relationships etc.), local sales and support for the export of products, as well as creating stable conditions for further sustainable development of the entire women led SMEs sector.
The concept of the project assumes replacing the often-destructive competition at the local level with the development of forms of long-term cooperation and specialization. The project includes support and assistance in modernization of production facilities and processes of women led rural businesses in various domains from agricultural and non-agricultural sectors in rural areas, such as, but not limited to: production of food products (placentas & cold cuts), production of furniture and furniture accessories, implementation of innovative cultivation processes for flowers in protected field, upgrade of production process in the field of protective clothing production, production of construction elements and concrete products, support for start-ups, and other.
